Now that the suspense is uncovered about the features of iOS 13, Google search is flooded with users looking to download and install iOS 13 beta on their supported iPhone. In all this excitement, Windows users are kind of disappointed as most of the tutorials are for Mac users. However, we have a full-proof working way to install iOS 13 beta 1 without a developer account on the iPhone using Windows PC.
But before you proceed, there are certain things you should know:
Important Note: There are a plethora of articles about installing iOS 13 from Mac. However, we have found none of those working. We have tried on MacBook Pro, iMac, and also on Mac Mini. We also updated our Macs to Catalina and also tried with Xcode 11 Beta. Unfortunately, we had no success, and thus, we can say that currently there’s no way to install iOS 13 using Mac.

  • We have tried this method on iPad and iPhone using Windows 7 machine, and the process is working perfectly fine.
  • None of the device in subject had suffered any data loss, but we encourage you to have a complete backup before proceeding.
  • With every beta installation, there are some generic risk factors attached. We assume that you are familiar with it. There are chances your device may become inoperative due to any error during the installation. Proceed at your own risk.
  • If in case you end up with the mess, you can always revert back to iOS 12 using iTunes. But you’ll lose all your data.
  • Most importantly, it is highly recommended to try iOS 13 on the secondary device. So even if something goes wrong, your primary device is safe.

How to Install iOS 13 Beta 1 without Developer Account on iPhone with Windows PC

Note: We have used an old Windows 7 laptop for this process, but we assume it should work on any Windows device.

Step #1. Download the IPSW file for your iPhone from the below mentioned link:

Step #2.
Connect your iPhone to your Windows PC and make sure you tap the “Trust” on the pop-up screen. The pop-up is displayed only if you have connected iPhone for the first time.
Step #3. On your Windows device, download libimobile2019-master.zip
Step #4. Extract the content of the ZIP file.
Step #5. Now rename the IPSW file to “restore.ipsw” and place it inside the libimobile2019-master folder that you extracted at step #4.
Step #6. Open Command Prompt. You can click the Windows button on keyboard and type “cmd”.
Step #7. Now type “cd” and then drag and drop the libimobile2019-master folder inside the command prompt window, and then press Enter.
Step #8. All you need to do now is to type: “idevicerestore -d restore.ipsw”
That’s it. Rest of the task will be handled by the tool. It will flash the iOS 13 on the connected device, and once everything is finished, your iPhone will automatically restart.
